The Jewelry Design industry wants people who have more
than technical skills. At JADC, learning dosen't just
take place in the classroom. We set up a variety of
activities for our students so that they can experience
the whole world of jewelry design. This is a partial
list of activities arranged by the Student Services
Department.

As a job placement
activity, we have tours to a variety of
companies to see the design process firsthand.
Often, these tours include the opportunity
to meet with the companies' Human Resources
Department and to discuss possible employment
opportunities |

In order to
prepare you for the 'real world', we offer
a variety of seminars to aid in the job
placement process. Strategic interviewing
skills and resume development senminars,
as well as motivational alumni and industry
guest speakers are a few examples of the
resources available to all students. |

JADC has graduates
working in virtually every aspect of the
jewelry design industry. From time to time,
our graduates come back to the college to
meet with current students and tell them
their experiences working in the industry.
Whether you want to be a jewelry designer or a gemstone dealer. We can
arrange for you to meet with a JADC graduate
in that specific field. |
